INSPIRATIONAL MENTORS

Adam Messix, PGA
Adam is an alumni of the University of Delaware which he completed his business degree and played on the golf team. As one of the best and brightest he quickly found himself working at top end clubs, most notably Shinnecock Hills. He is currently the General Manager at Headwaters Golf Club in Cashiers, NC on his 24th year. He also on the National Golf Course Ranking Panel and has completed the centurions list in 2017 and 2018.
Ryan Dailey, PGA
Ryan is one of the first alumni of the Campbell University PGA golf management program. His claim to fame is the development of Operation 36, a world class program to make the game of golf simplistic and fun. He has fueled my love for instruction and helped with clarity for the direction of my future


David Orr, PGA
David is a putting guru. He has instructed multiple tour players, collegiate golfers, and some of the top juniors. He owns Flatstick Academy and provides a certification for PGA professionals to learn about the key principles. He has put in over 30 years of coaching and 15 years of research into solely the putting stroke. Some notable names include Justin Rose, Paul Casey, Hunter Mahan, Suzann Pettersen, Brad Faxon and more. I was fortunate enough to shadow him and pick his brain during his time at Campbell University teaching.
Gavin Parker, PGA
Gavin is an alumni of the Campbell University PGA golf management program. He is currently the Director of Instruction at Salisbury Country Club in Midlothian, VA. He is the "CEO of Junior Golf" and has made a strong impact in the Middle Atlantic PGA section winning one of the best young teachers in America. With unparalleled energy his curriculum emphasizes the word "PLAY" an acronym for powerful learning about yourself. He sparked my interest in the game of golf and teaching. I was fortunate enough to teach junior golf under his guidance and mentorship.


Nick Gorman, PGA
Nick is an alumni of the Campbell University PGA golf management program. He is currently the Director of Instruction at Llanerch Country Club in Havertown, Pennsylvania. He enjoys spending time on the course with his students and playing in events during his free time.
